Kim and John's wedding was was so unique. From the exotic Hawaiian flowers, to hula performances and a live band, every minute was a blast! Here's a little sneak peek into their special day at The Westin Sacramento on the river / Scott's Seafood...
Right off the bat, I knew I would hit it off with Evelyn. Because she lives so far away from me, we did a little phone consultation to make sure we were a good match, and her personality shined even through the phone. She and her now-husband, Ben, have been together since she was in high school and were down to earth, country kids who just wanted their wedding day to be about their love for each other and a good time!
At the last minute, her wedding venue had closed down and she was now venue-less! Luckily, the stars aligned and Willowcreek Events had an opening the day after her original date, so she jumped on it. I can't believe how beautiful their wedding turned out after the chaos of finding a new venue (which was gorgeous), and that most of their original vendors were still available. This couple is not only so down to earth, but SO KIND. They are truly two of the nicest people you could ask to work with, and it's obvious that the people they surround themselves with agree. I feel so honored to have been there to capture their beautiful day, and look forward to seeing them grow as a couple!
Kelly and Tim celebrated their beautiful wedding day at the Jefferson Street Mansion in Benicia last month. It's a vintage, ornate mansion with an outdoor reception area covered in a permanent tent (yay, no tent rentals!) and a getting ready room that is a dream for photos! Her dress was MAGICAL- I don't think I've ever gotten so many "heart-eye" responses to a dress sneak peek! It fit her like a glove and was lace from top to bottom. Their day was filled with loving friends and family, their adorable son, Calvin, and lots of laughs.
Thank you, Mahaney family, for choosing me to document your beautiful wedding!
